A window servery is a glazing system that integrates on a bench top to create a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. Servery windows are used in a home or commercial environment to optimise airflow and accessibility.  Windows that are designed to be used in servery applications should be simple to ingrate, have a minimalist design and the ability to open and close for easy access.

Servery windows are a convenient way to provide access between spaces, such as kitchens and dining areas. They work in any setting. Residential, commercial and even retail settings can benefit from a window servery.

Gas Strut Versus Stackable Window Servery

A gas strut servery or a stackable servery are two of the most common types of window servery designs. A gas strut system is a single pane of framed glass that opens up entirely using gas struts on the far ends. Contrary to this design, a stackable servery system has panels slide and stack to one side (or both). Both designs are great options and the decision to use one or the other often comes down to the space available and overall functionality you prefer.

The Open Enclosure system is the stackable servery window design. This means that individual panels are independently operated to give you flexibility with how much the system is open. With varied weather conditions, it may be preferable to open 1 or 2 panels as opposed to the entire unit. The architectural design provides an aesthetic option for those using it in either domestic or commercial applications.

Customisable Design

Our servery windows can be customised to suit the application. This includes customising the height and width of each individual glass panels, perimeter frame colour and the opening side and direction. The flexible design ensures that panels are not obtrusive and interrupt the flow and style of the bench top.

Slim Line and Concealed Frame

Many servery windows have relatively thick framing around the perimeter of the system and between individual panels. This can reduce the amount of natural light and hinder the indoor – outdoor feel. Our slimline aluminium frame provides a minimalist design and also has the added option to conceal within the bench or ceiling.

Waterproof Servery Window

When servery windows are exposed to outdoors, it is imperative that the system is able to withstand wind and rain. The tracking mechanism and weather proof seals between the panels ensure that no water or wind is penetrated.

Award Winning Design
